Gettin' Ready for Vacation

We are getting ready to take my first big vacation... a Caribbean cruise with lots of family members! My parents told me there are lots of "firsts" with this trip - first airplane ride, first time leaving the U.S., my first passport, first time on a boat, first time seeing Aunt Patti, first time seeing the ocean, first time playing in sand, first time swimming, first time being away from home (and Eddie) for more than a long weekend, first time I will "dress for dinner", first time wearing sunscreen... see lots of "firsts!" We are all pretty excited - I will be away from the blog for awhile but when I return I will have tons of great pics and memories to share. Bon Voyage!

Patty Cake, Patty Cake...

I used to just listen to the Patty Cake song but now that I am a big boy I participate and I love clapping, clapping is a lot of fun!! Sometimes I just clap for no reason (like at bedtime last night) I started clapping and laughing and Mama couldn't help but laugh too. Guess what: turns out I'm pretty funny!

New Kicks

I have my first pair of shoes; I really like em but more so to look at and touch than actually wear. J 

Showing Teeth well just A Tooth

I wanted to show off my wonderful tooth (on the bottom right for you) that came through - I guess my Doc knows what she is talking about because I have two more that are also very close to poking through. She said one to three within a month.

In addition, Mama and I like to style my hair different after each bath here I am with the quintessential mohawk! We have also done a comb over to the right, comb over to the left, devil horns, spiky all over, the Donald Trump, and the brush back - good humor!

Card Party

Grandpa and NCB came down today and we had a card party at my house! It was extra fun because Great Grandma and Grandpa Bob were there too!! 

A Tooth Pokes Through & Same Mama: New Look

 

A bottom tooth finally poked through today! I have had a fever off and on for the last few days but don't worry I'm hangin' in there. I went to town on a cold teething ring the change of temperature felt so good. And Mama got a big haircut but don't worry it's the same Mama. I was a little concerned until she said my name and then I gave her lots of smiles to show her that I like her new dew.  

Happy Valentine's Day!

 

 

My life is terrific I have so many wonderful people that I love and that love me and Valentine's Day is the perfect day to celebrate that love! I had a great day (complete with two outfit changes!) - got to pet Eddie again, took Grandma 2, Grandma, Mama, and Papa out for lunch (where I saw my super nice neighbors Carol & David!), got presents from Grandma, went to the YMCA where I flirted with the older ladies, and then fell asleep on my Mama - it was a fantastic day start to finish!

Happy Seventh-Month Day!

Over the last month I have really grown fond of games like Peek-a-Boo, If Your Happy and You Know It Clap Your Hands, This Little Piggy, and Patty Cake. I love all dogs!! Especially Eddie, he lets me pet him a lot now but I am still learning to be careful and not slap him. (I just get so excited!) I can now find things that are hiding under a blanket. No teeth yet but my gums are really swollen and sometimes I have a fever. As you guys know I crawled for the first time on Friday apparently that was a big deal!? I have added avocados, squash, peas, peaches, pears, and yogurt (both plain and blueberry) to my stage 1 food list and of course water in my sippy cup. I can sit better every day but still cannot do it by myself for very long without something behind me. I continue to smile at everyone including people that I do not know. I have almost outgrown my infant car seat - my feet hang over the side so probably this week we are going to switch to a convertible car seat. I am still a very happy baby (despite teething) and love attention... my family calls me their perfect little angel.      

My First Sleepover Without My Parents

I had my first sleepover without my parents! And I liked it - I stayed overnight at my Vic-Vic's with Grandma and Grandma 2 while my parents went and stayed in a hotel for their anniversary. I missed my Uncle Sean because he was gone this weekend but the ladies gave me lots of hugs and kisses. A big thanks to Vickie for letting me sleepover I had a wonderful time!

Happy Anniversary Mama & Papa!

Mama & Papa have been married for 11 years today!! To celebrate I crawled for them for the first time. Papa tried to catch it on camera but I wouldn't cooperate completely for that take a look...

Grandpa's Birthday!

I couldn't be with my Grandpa on his actual birthday today so we called and sent text messages to him. I love him very much and wanted to tell him lots of times that we were thinking of him!! I had my super special Grandpa shirt on and Mama made a sign (that was extremely tasty by the way) and then Eddie and I were to get together for a picture to send to Grandpa but Eddie got a little shy (as you can see above). Oh well, Happy Birthday Grandpa!! 

Visiting Grandpa, NCB, & Aunt Briana

We got to see Grandpa, NCB, and Aunt Briana today and even though it is Grandpa's birthday I got gifts... early Valentine's Day presents. I really liked them so I smiled a lot to thank NCB!!! I was having a terrific time and didn't want to leave but my parents said we'd be back real soon.

My First Overnight @ Sean & Vic's

Sean & Vickie are so much fun and I love spending time with them. Look Sean was going to let me ride Sierra - see pretty fun right!? I never get to ride Eddie at home! Plus I got to take off my pants and lounge around (which is kinda my thing lately) and they totally understood Sean said that it's a guy thing. J Anyway, I had my first overnight at their house Saturday (Mama & Papa came along too). We goofed around and at night even went to see some hot air balloons. I had a great time and can't wait to go back!! 

Here is Sean & I having fun and goofing around awhile back (I was only a couple of days old then) oh man that guy is hilarious! It's the old pretzels as fangs bit... just classic! 

Learning to Fly

I have talked the talk, got the Superman outfit, and now all I have to do is learn how to fly... it's going well so far don't you think?! Pretty soon I will be flying around the living room carrying Eddie.
