An Evening With Grace
You guys remember how I have talked about my adoptive Grandma Grace (my Grandma 2's real good friend from Arizona) well she's here in Austin and we've been having a great time. Tonight she came over to play with me and have dinner. Here I am right after my bath getting ready for bedtime. Aren't my Grandma's cute?!

Our Little Helper
Lately I love to help my parents with chores sweeping, raking, dusting, whatever I'm in. Today I was helping Mama water everything the flowers, the yard, Eddie anything I could because I'm helpful... yeah that's it, helpful. Don't worry despite all my hard work I still took the time to smell the flowers and play a little too. J

My Life is Full of Tractors!
My Mama had her annual travel agent convention in Minneapolis this weekend so Papa and I came along and we all spent the night at Vickie's house on Saturday. Sean was out of town so that was a bummer because we had such a great time. We went to an apple orchard and I saw a tractor it was pulling a huge trailer that people could sit on so we hitched a ride through the orchard. It was super cool, man I love tractors. Afterward we got my favorite apple butter jam and I tried something new, an apple doughnut (oh, so good!) I can't wait to go back there. My parents told me that in a few weeks they will open their pumpkin patch and then I can see all kinds of pumpkins. That sounds fun and maybe I can get another apple doughnut too. I also showed my Vic-Vic, Mama & Papa the Teddy Bear Park in Stillwater. (I had been there a couple of weekends ago with Grandpa & NCB.) It is the best park chuck full with fun things to do and play on. Then we tried to go to Sals (a restaurant) but they were too busy because they were having a tractor parade and classic car show. Imagine my surprise to see more tractors. When I got home Grandma gave me a small John Deere tractor that is just my size. I started telling her all about my overnight in the Cities and how there are tractors everywhere. I told her that I loved the tractor and started giggling as I played with it. The only time that I put down the tractor is to sleep (and I would sleep with it if Mama would let me) I love it. I have a bigger John Deere tractor in my room that my Great Grandpa Bob gave me but it's a little too heavy so Papa says that I need to wait a little while longer to play with it. It's going to be neat when I can play with it because then I can have my very own tractor parades in the backyard!

Airplane Fork & Pizza = Fun & Tasty
I have been working on using my spoon to eat but today Mama rolled out a new utensil, a fork. And it was shaped like an airplane! Way cool I know, my Grandma gave it to me. Another new item at dinner was the main course... I had pizza for the first time along with some grapes. The verdict: it was yummy.

Work Hard to Play Hard
Papa told me that you have to work hard to be able to play hard so first we did yard work and then got to play at the park. Truth be told I enjoyed both tasks!

Guess What: I learned how to toast so let the good times roll. And as you can see my cheesy smile is still alive and well.

Vroom Vroom
Here I am playing with my trucks, one is a flat bed truck that carries a sports car and the other is a recycling truck that you can put things in. Yep, I was just hanging out playing peacefully when all of sudden a leg monster got me. YIKES! Mama put down the camera and help me!!

A Tractor Parade
First off, people should know that books and toys can be deceiving when it comes to the actual size of an object. Take tractors for example I have read about them and even have a toy tractor but when I saw a real one I was blown away (as you can see from the last pic above!). Whoa they're big and loud - it was great! I sat there with my mouth open wide and then started laughing and clapping. I looked at my Papa and started pointing and laughing. Mama said that it was one of the cutest things that she has ever seen. So let me back up, we went to a thing called the "Farming of Yesteryear" on Sunday with Grandma 2, Grandma and Grandpa Dale. They had a tractor parade, draft horses, a real fire truck, something called a "Pumpkin Chucker" (which they shot pumpkins, watermelons, misc. fruit, and even a bowling ball out into a field). Certainly not something one would see everyday! They also had farm animals, an old time church and school, and Rod, Kathy, Nick and Sarah too. I made sure to wear my "Make room for the big guy" John Deere tractor shirt. And they even had a little tractor that was just my size which was awesome. Seriously terrific day - my life is marvelous!

More Fun At the Zoo
Guess What: I took Grandma 2 to the Minnesota Zoo on Saturday. Did you guys know that she has only been to a zoo once before (with me) to Como? Crazy, I know. And Como is a perfectly lovely zoo but certainly not the super cool Minnesota Zoo with huge bears, a monorail, snow monkeys, sea loins, leopards, camels, caribou and much much more. My parents came along too and everyone had a nice day the weather was perfect. Look at how close that enormous bear got to me! He just sauntered over got in the pool and swam right up to the window where I was it was quite amazing actually. (I thought to myself, Holy Cats that's the biggest dog I have ever seen!")

Long Holiday Weekends Rock!
This weekend I got to go to my Grandpa & NCB's house and spend some time with my Aunt Briana too we all had so much fun together! We went to a special park called the Teddy Bear Park, played outside, had a fire one night, ate yummy food (among my favorites were the little heart shaped sandwiches my NCB made me!) and we even played with some terrific new toys that they bought just for me. Then on Monday instead of the usual crazy busy Monday Papa & Mama came back and we all went to the Minnesota Zoo. I loved it every zootastic minute!
Thanks for all the fun and good times Grandpa and Nana!!
