A Spooktacular Halloween!

We settled on a black and white theme for Halloween and Eddie is a skunk and I am a cow. I like to say, "Moo" and then "Pee-ew" for Eddie it gets a laugh every time. I had a really fun day, maybe the best day yet! Trick or treating was a blast I loved getting candy and putting it in my Halloween bucket, seeing people I knew, and seeing other kiddos dressed up. Here are the pics from our awesome day...

I Got Mail

I had a huge day today I was a sea otter one of my favorite animals at the zoo, got a surprise package in the mail, and had my 15-month doctor appointment! I'll tell you guys about the doctor appointment later and focus on the fun parts of my day. Now we get packages all the time because of Papa's work but this time the mailman delivered the package to me. I felt really special and at first was just so grateful for the box I didn't know there was anything in it. Then as Papa opened it up I was shocked to see gold fish crackers, animal crackers, oreo cookies, a super cute Halloween teddy bear, and an awesome truck that plays music and lights up!! YAY Halloween! Thank you so much Vic-Vic & Sean you picked all of my favorite things and I loved getting mail too!!!

Ador-a-Boo!

I'm getting really excited for Halloween so each day leading up to the big event we are dressing up - fun, I know. I am also practicing my "Trick or Treat" but right now I just baby talk/yell and then shove my pumpkin bucket out. Mama says that's close enough people will get the idea.

This costume is in honor of my first animal sound, a monkey! Mama scored a few costumes on eBay super cheap about six months ago so we have been having fun pretending I live in a zoo and today I am a monkey ohh ohh ohh eee eee eee aah aah aah!!

Grandpa & Nana's Halloween Surprise

Today was very exciting because my Grandpa & Nana came over to my house and they brought Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Bob too. They came down to see my Halloween costume and to play with me and guess what... they brought me a fancy flashlight, a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse pop-up Halloween book, and two humongous Halloween cookies. Mama was scared that I would rip out the pop-up pages (Man, you do that once and all of a sudden that's my thing!?) Anyway she said that we'll save that until I am a little bigger but the flashlight was all mine. I played with it the entire day and even wanted to go to sleep with it. I looked under the couches, under my bed and dresser, and even tried to examine Eddie with it. But apparently again that kind of behavior is frowned upon in this establishment! So most of the time I ran around carrying my flashlight pausing to look at this and that Mama thought I was being cute so she asked me to smile. I did for a couple of the shots and then began giving her my cheesy smile. Tee-hee, that bit never gets old!

P.S. If you're wondering the cookie was fantastic and I get number two tomorrow I'm such a lucky boy!

Oklahoma Is Way Better Than OK

Playing with my cousins Andy, Braden and Colby

Andy wanted to give me a hug and kiss goodbye :-)
And then here I am in Gary's office

"Wow" Airplanes!

Spoiler Alert... I'm a cow for Halloween!
Riding Gary's motorcycle "Zoom, Zoom"

The horses freaked me out - first one tried to eat Mama's hand and then my saddle fell off while I was on the horse (two other kids had the same thing happen to them too). It was scary so here is a rare crying shot; don't feel too bad for me though I got over it real quick because there was a tractor, corn maze, and a hay ride!! That sign should have read, "Pony Rides... Ride At Your Own Risk!" Good thing Papa was there to save the day.

So after having a blast in Kansas we continued on to Oklahoma to see Uncle Gary & Aunt Patti. We left late Wednesday night and this time when I woke up we were in Edmond at their house I slept the whole way. We had a great time there too Uncle Gary took us to Tinker Air Force Base where he works and I got to see all kinds of airplanes. I thought that they were HUGE so I kept saying, "WOW!" about 100 times. Everyone said that was really cute. I was so impressed by the airplanes that they are now my new favorite thing. I also had cousins to play with there and had a terrific time with them. Another thing that I liked about the road trip was that Papa, Mama and I all got to sleep in the same room. Which meant that when I woke up I was able to be the first person to say, "Morning" to them. That was pretty neat a guy could get used to that... just saying.
