Happy Halloween! Wow - what a fun time I had celebrating Halloween this year. We went trick or treating to all of the businesses downtown Austin the weekend before, then went to a Halloween dance at the Hormel House, we had a party and costume parade at school, and then we went around to all of the people we know in town to ask for candy. I made sure to say, "Thank you" each and every time, which made my Mama real happy. Eddie even got in on the celebration when Grammie gave him a Halloween surprise. When it was done I asked Daddy if we could do it all again real soon. :-)

Read All About It!
My school had an open house it was so much fun. Clifford the big red dog was there (just like in my books!), they had face painting (my first time), arts and crafts, and apple juice. I had an awesome time and then to top it off the newspaper was there and took my picture it ended up on the front page. So now I'm officially a celebrity twice in the newspaper and I'm only two years old. :-)

Farmer John's Great Pumpkin Patch
Jake and Farmer John
Shopping Wagon
Kissing Mama in the pumpkin patch
We had a lot of fun going to Farmer John's pumpkin patch with Grammie and Grandma 2. We picked out four enormous pumpkins to carve, got five tiny ones for the kitchen table (just like in my halloween book!), and I got to pick out my very own pumpkin to put halloween stickers on. Check out the results:
Grammie - owl, Daddy - funny face, Mama - cat (for Grandma 2), Mama - Mickey Mouse

My First Concert
Grandma 2 took us to my very first concert we went to "Elmo Makes Music" at the Mayo Civic Center in Rochester. All the Sesame Street gang was present including Cookie Monster, Big Bird, Bert and Ernie, Grover, Telly, Abby, Zoe, Oscar the Grouch, Count, and of course my new favorite Elmo. We learned that you can make music out of almost anything at all not just musical instruments. It was fantastic we had front row seats and I had a wonderful time dancing, singing and enjoying the show. We even got to meet Ernie, Cookie Monster and Elmo before the show at a meet and greet. Ah, it was really terrific I got to give Elmo a hug, give Cookie a high-five, and color with and talk to Ernie. Thank You So Much Grandma 2!!!

Goodness Gracious Great Balls of... Cheese?!
Mama and I went shopping at Sams Club I like it there because everything is in huge boxes its like the grocery store but super sized - case in point, take a look at this cheese ball container! We had a good laugh and then I asked, "Can we get it Mama?" and she said, "Heck yeah that's awesome!" I gave her a thumbs up (my new trick) and away we went in search for more modest snacks.
PS. Do you know the best part about cheese balls... orange fingers!
