I'm Movin' On Up

 

To a big boy bed! I decided on Wednesday that I would climb out of the crib at nap time. Normally I go to sleep real easy but not today I didn't want to have a nap so I protested A LOT. And then when that didn't work I tried to escape. My mama saw me climbing out of the crib just in time and came running in to catch me (and I literally mean catch me)! We were both pretty scared. I didn't realize how high the rails were. Daddy came in and took the rail off and then I took my nap. After all of the excitement I was exhausted. Two big changes in less than a week - no nuk and my big boy bed I'm feeling pretty proud of myself so if you come over chances are I'll tell you all about it. :-)

Bath time and registration

Major news in my life: I have been Nuk (pacifier) free for five nights now! I was only using it at night but was pretty attached to having it every night. But because I'm a big boy now I don't need it (or so I've been told) so we went to the Build-a-Bear store and I was able to pick out an animal. I chose the adorable, courageous lion. We then stuffed it, put in its heart after everyone kissed it, and then I put in my Nuk. My parents and the grandma's were so proud of how brave and mature I was about the whole thing. I love my new friend he keeps me company at night and I especially love roaring with him. I guess being a big boy isn't so bad!

Okay so I love the holidays and New Year's Eve was no exception I got to stay up late, have an entertaining meal of what I like to call Fun-do, decorate the house and each other, toast the night away, and did I mention that I got to stay up late?! I didn't make midnight but I did see 10pm!
