Countdown to Christmas
This year Grammie came up with a cool way to countdown to Christmas she bought a wooden sled with boxes for each day in December and then her and I do the things listed in each box. Today was get a kiss under the mistletoe! One of my favorites so far was paint a canvas of lights with my fingerprints for the colored bulbs.

Christmas Everywhere
Oh my gosh we had a blast with Christmas in the City and then Christmas in the Country this year. The town of Austin celebrates Christmas for two whole weeks in December with each neighborhood doing something special. We made homemade ornaments, decorated Christmas cookies and gingerbread houses, made bird feeders, had a petting zoo, bounce house, horse drawn wagon rides, live holiday jazz music, blew the very loud train whistle on an old local train, Christmas photo booth, pictures with Santa himself, and much more! Sarah even joined in the fun on the last day with Christmas in the Country!

Snowman Themed Fun
Grammie hosted a snowman themed ladies lunch at our house and even though I'm not one of the ladies I was included with plenty of snowman fun. I helped her make the centerpieces and gift bag loot, and she also gave me this fun snowman headband.

Holidays On The Rails
The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train came through Austin it was really neat to see a whole big train lit up and there was a live band too. Lots of fun and loads of people daddy said the whole town came out and we believed him. The train is going from town to town collecting food and money donations for the Salvation Army.

Limo, Lights, and Santa!
Don't worry we're pretty sure it was just apple juice! :-)
"Hey Santa, where are the reindeer? What do they like to eat besides carrots? Donner and Rudolph are my favorites. Do you have a favorite reindeer? Do you like sprinkles on your cookies? Is skim milk okay with you? I would like bath crayons for Christmas please. Okay see you later... Mom I know that was the REAL Santa and not just a helper because he had all the answers to my questions, had a real beard and real white hair, and his belly shook when he laughed! Plus, look there's Mrs. Claus handing out candy canes. Wow, the limo took us all the way to the North Pole!"
Super fun night thanks Grandpa and NCB!!!
