At eight months old I can wave, initiate and play peek-a-boo, hug, pat folks on the back when giving them a hug (my Mama's favorite - Papa calls it my "Guy Hug"). I am enjoying an especially fun game where I drop my toys on the floor and then look at people to pick them up. I am sitting without support (as you can see above) and I can stand while holding on to something. I still love clapping and my jumper A LOT seriously, I am a jumpin' fool there is nobody better at jumping. I roll around everywhere these days (I think it's a great way to get around and more people should try it). "What, you want me to come over to the other side of the room - no problem, I'll roll right over!" I am saying "Dada" and "Mama" but I don't know the meaning of those words yet. I am in love with my books and toys that either light up or make sounds when manipulated. And I love to bang my stacking cups together or on different surfaces to hear the various noises. I only have one tooth that has poked through but three others are extremely close.
I'm a big boy now! Yep! You keep getting cutier and sweeter every month, every mile stone is such a joy to see. My favorite is your hardy laugh! Love, Grandma
