Little Nemo

At first I was pretty unsure of the big bathtub mostly because it was so cold they really need to add more hot water to the thing. Mama always makes sure the temperature is comfortable in my tub by using Mr. Octopus the YMCA needs Mr. Octopus ASAP, seriously burr! Anyway, as the time went on I started to warm up and get used to the big tub. I thought it was a little strange that I had clothes and a special diaper on and other people were bathing with me but hey, whatever man. So there are two other children in my class a girl (she had trouble even getting in... girls, what can you do?!) and a boy named Cameron both are about two years old. Cameron and his Papa are super nice. My swim instructor is Cami (pictured above holding me) she is a lot of fun and I really like her because she gave me a boat and a dinosaur to play with - I gave the dinosaur to Cameron and didn't let go of the boat the entire class. Actually I didn't want to leave it at the end but my parents said that I can play with it again at our next session which is tomorrow. We get to go swimming every Tuesday and Thursday for the next four weeks, Yippee! Cami said that our goals for the first lesson were to get into the pool, play with a toy or floatation device, and feel comfortable enough not to cling on our parents - I succeeded at them all and even had fun splashing too.

  1. Nice Anglerfish shirt you've got there, Jake! Their weird little glowing "lure" made them one of my favorite sea creatures when I was little.

  2. Jakey I can remember your mom in the pool for the first time in her teeny weeny orange bikini, how cute she looked too. She still loves the water just like I know you will. Love, Grandma
