Mill City Museum

Built into the ruins of what was once the world's largest flour mill, the Mill City Museum is located on the historic Mississippi Riverfront. Here, visitors of all ages learn about the intertwined histories of the flour industry, the river, and the city of Minneapolis (Mill City Museum, 2013). We went here on Saturday and it was super fun. I got to play by a large, very old tractor, watched a 20-minute movie on Minneapolis (my first movie on a big screen), played with Daddy & Grandpa in a water exhibit, saw great views of St. Anthony Falls and the Mississippi River through the 9th floor observation deck, and rode an 8-story elevator through an exhibit on the history of the flour mill. That was my favorite part I clapped after each floor. What a fun day we had!
