It looks like I am getting ready for bed but actually I'm about to leave the house... in my jammies. It was pajama day at school and I loved it! I couldn't get over that I could leave the house in my pj's and then wear them all day long. I kept telling everyone I saw that I had on my firedog jammies. I also liked looking at everyone else's pj's especially Liam and Levi (Go Thomas!)

The Great Minnesota Get Together
My parents took me to the Minnesota State Fair it was huge, super fun and just a great day. I loved the "Little Farm Hands" exhibit it was educational, fun and they had tractors. Basically I went around doing farm chores to earn money to buy a treat at the store - my treat of choice was an apple. (I could've chosen an ice cream treat, candy bar or juice box but the apple looked good and just my size.) I also enjoyed the dairy building did you guys know that a cow will produce an average of 115 glasses of milk each day! How about a cow drinks about a bathtub full of water a day - pretty amazing stuff right?! I love cows. Mama's two favorite buildings were the fine arts building and the "Miracle of Birth" building. Fine arts was a little boring (sorry Mama) but the birthing building was pretty neat we got to see lots of baby animals and even witnessed baby pigs being born. I was a little confused and had lots of questions but thought the babies were cute never-the-less. My number one question was, "Hey Daddy... what's that girl's name?" A pretty six-year old standing down the line from me... What, were you thinking that I'd have different questions? I also ate some tasty treats fresh french fries, cookies, and my first snow cone. Man, I can't wait until next year!

New & Improved Apple Lane
My preschool got a new home and to celebrate all of the students colored t-shirts and got to sing at the dedication. The television station was there and everything it was pretty exciting. There's my class in the second pic (I'm the first kid)! My teachers are now Mrs. Kristin and Mrs. Karla because I'm in the Toddler 2 classroom. I still go three days a week. And I really miss Mrs. Julie but I'm dealing with it like a big boy.
The sand box is one of my favorite new things!
Us singing our three songs and look there's Eve (red) my best girl.
I colored this shirt all by myself at school!

John Deere Day
Our local John Deere dealer had a kids day out party at their store. It was a blast because I love tractors almost as much as trains. They had big tractors and farm equipment to look at, little versions for kids to ride on, a corn tub to play in, face painting, coloring contests, a bouncy house, pedal tractor races, and much more. When we were leaving I told the manager that I had a terrific time and thanked him for inviting us.
"Take Me Out to the Ball Game"
I was lucky enough to be back at Target Field and we were watching Joe Mauer up to bat - me and Mama said, "Hit a home run Joe!" And then he did, it was very exciting and everybody cheered, clapped, and fist-bumped their neighbors. I made sure to yell real loudly so that Mr. Mauer could hear me. Then later TC Bear came over to our section and we grabbed a picture with him and gave him a high five. After that we sang, "Take me out to the ball game" for the seventh inning stretch. I had been practicing so that this game I could sing the entire song with the crowd - Daddy said that I did a wonderful job. Sadly in the end the Twins lost but don't worry we'll get those stinky White Sox next time! :-)

Steel County Fair
This year my favorite things to do at the fair were visiting the farm, baby, and large animal buildings (we saw a giraffe!), having a ride on Tony the pony, listening to a man play an accordion (polka music rocks - seriously stop laughing the guy had mad skills!), riding the carousel, winning a big blue guitar, watching men try to run across logs in the lumberjack challenge (I begged Mama to let me have a go but no luck I guess there's always next year), and having a chocolate malt from the dairy booth. We went with the Grandma's and it was a good time had by all.

Holy Smokestacks it's Thomas!
I rode Thomas the train - the actual Thomas can you believe it?! He left the island of Sodor chugged along to Duluth and Nana & Grandpa took us to visit him. It was wicked awesome I love Thomas and anything and everything to do with trains so I had a wonderful time! Check me out in my engineer outfit. We also got to stay in a cottage with the biggest bathtub in the whole wide world, threw rocks into Lake Superior, walked around the harbor, met Sir Topham Hat and oh yeah, did I mention that I got to ride Thomas! :-)
