Play On Player

I finally blew Grandma 2 a kiss! She has been trying to get me to do that for... well, all my life. And usually I just smile and laugh when she blows a kiss to me but this time I put my fist up to my mouth and blew her a kiss back. She was very surprised and very excited that I did this so I will try to do it more often.

I have been in a kissing mood this week, first I kissed Patti in the B&J Bar and now I blow a kiss to Grandma 2 --- play on player!

Little Nemo

At first I was pretty unsure of the big bathtub mostly because it was so cold they really need to add more hot water to the thing. Mama always makes sure the temperature is comfortable in my tub by using Mr. Octopus the YMCA needs Mr. Octopus ASAP, seriously burr! Anyway, as the time went on I started to warm up and get used to the big tub. I thought it was a little strange that I had clothes and a special diaper on and other people were bathing with me but hey, whatever man. So there are two other children in my class a girl (she had trouble even getting in... girls, what can you do?!) and a boy named Cameron both are about two years old. Cameron and his Papa are super nice. My swim instructor is Cami (pictured above holding me) she is a lot of fun and I really like her because she gave me a boat and a dinosaur to play with - I gave the dinosaur to Cameron and didn't let go of the boat the entire class. Actually I didn't want to leave it at the end but my parents said that I can play with it again at our next session which is tomorrow. We get to go swimming every Tuesday and Thursday for the next four weeks, Yippee! Cami said that our goals for the first lesson were to get into the pool, play with a toy or floatation device, and feel comfortable enough not to cling on our parents - I succeeded at them all and even had fun splashing too.

My Birthday Week

Uncle Gary & Aunt Patti (along with Mary Gail & Bill, their friends from OKC) came to visit and help celebrate my birthday week. Yep, I guess when your very special you get to celebrate multiple times so instead of a one-day celebration we are partying the entire week. Works for Me! They brought me really nice gifts and I love spending time with them we even went to the Spam Museum - FYI Spam is surprisingly yummy. Mama almost threw up and had trouble holding me because she said I had, "Spam Breath" but it was still a good time had by all. We also went out for lunch two times this week to the Old Mill and B&J Bar, we've had lots of fun playing at our house, I gave my first kiss away (to Aunt Patti!) and tonight I have my very first swimming lesson. Holy Cats, I am having a wonderful week and it's only Tuesday!!

PS. Happy Birthday Sean - See you on Sunday! :-)

Fun in the Son

Today the heat finally broke after weeks and it was only 84 degrees so Eddie and I broke out. After breakfast we went for a nice long walk, then after lunch we went to a park for the first time and experienced swinging. Let me just say, "Whoa Mama!" Then after dinner we went for another walk. It really was an exceptional day!

Heat, Trucks & A Dance Party

It is extremely hot in Minnesota (as is the majority of the country) but it's been upper 90's and even 100 degrees lately... yuck, I don't like it - that's way too hot for babies! When it's this hot and humid (oh the humidity!) we stay indoors and try to find adventures inside. Today we didn't have to look very far because a power line went down right outside our house! As a result our power went off (this was at about 4pm) and didn't come back on until about 8 o'clock. I thought it was magnificent because I got to watch the utility workers and their trucks. Then after I got bored with them Papa, Mama and I had a dance party all around the house. It was a lot of fun - you know, my parents are pretty fun people!

Happy Independence Day!

We had an outstanding 4th of July! First my Grandma came over to hang out and celebrate with me and then later Grandma 2 and after that Grandpa, NCB, Aunt Briana, Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Bob, and Dianne & Jack (my Grandpa's sister and husband from Georgia!). To celebrate the history of the United States I had on a cool new t-shirt, got to hang with family, ate yummy food, and even saw a few fireworks before bedtime... after I went to bed apparently Grandpa lit off lots more fireworks. Bummer - sometimes it stinks being little and missing things. But the first firework pic above in the right hand corner (the blue image) is actually me on my baby monitor sleeping soundly while huge bangs, pops, whistles and shrieks filled the night air. Everyone thought that was pretty funny - Ha, Ha people wait till next year I am staying up no matter what!!

Golfing & Fort Jacob

Here I am in my room golfing in the first pic and then later in a fort that Mama and I built for the second pic. It was awesome - we had a really great day playing together. Papa was busy working but snuck up several times to say hello and ask what all the giggling was about, apparently we were being a little loud. J

My shirt says, "I get my handsome from my Dad."
