Happy Six-Month Day!!

At six months I am blowing raspberries, talking a ton (and loud too), rolling over and still kicking constantly (in fact my parents starting baby proofing the house), I sit up well with help but when I try to do it by myself I sort of tri-pod sit for a minute and then fall over to one side. I’m still teething (yes, it’s Drool City around here!) with nothing breaking through yet, I eat puréed food and so far my favorites are sweet potatoes, carrots, bananas, and applesauce. I do not care for rice cereal or green beans! I love everyone and if people aren't looking at me I usually will initiate the interaction by smiling and/or cooing at them.

A typical Monday-Friday includes waking up around 7:00am, diaper change and bottle, play time and exploring while helping Papa check-in cameras and work, another diaper change, then morning nap time (lasting anywhere from 20 minutes to two hours) after waking up I say hi to Mama and Eddie, have a diaper change and a bottle, then it's bath time, more play time with many adventures while helping Mama work, my afternoon snack (real food!), watching Mama kick Papa’s butt in cribbage while they eat lunch, diaper change and an afternoon nap, after waking up a diaper change and bottle, play time, watching Eddie, and errands if we have any. A diaper change, then bottle, low key play time, more watching Eddie (I have gotten to touch him twice now!!) then turning off the lights around the house (except in my room) where my Papa holds me and my Mama reads me a story (from a book that I have chosen with my hands). One last diaper change and then I get one of them to myself where we either rock in the rocking chair or dance for a song or two then it’s off to bed for about an 11-hour slumber. Most nights I do go to bed really nice and easy but every now and again I get frisky and try to push it.
I have more pics to share from today but you'll have to check back later because I am still celebrating!
