Today was NCB's birthday so to make her day extra special we drove up to help her celebrate. We went to a fancy restaurant called the Lake Elmo Inn and my mama said that I was a little persnickety. Just because I didn't want to hang out in my car seat for very long, nor did I want to be in the nice highchair for very long, so Grandpa held me but I was squirming all around during that too... I guess I was being a little persnickety huh. I hope I didn't ruin NCB's nice dinner! I had fun with the waitresses, playing with the salt and pepper shakers, a very shinny spoon, jumping on Grandpa, and poking at the sorbet that Nana was trying to get me to lick. Also, we got a card for her that played music and lit up - I really liked that card! This is a very special week because we get to see them all again on Sunday for Easter - Wow, twice in one week AWESOME!
"persnickety" no way! You were and are a delight. Thank your parents for coming up and making my big day so special. You are right that card is pretty cool. I played it twice when I got home.
